cecilie melli

I was looking for a gift for a speical friend of mine and I started thinking of this designer. I probably hadn't even known about her if it wasn't for another friend and collegue of mine who gave me a pair of earrings after we finished our project two years ago. And then another pair for christmas the following year. I simply love them and they are by far my favourite earrings ever!!

Cecilie Meli has a webshop and two stores in Oslo: http://www.ceciliemelli.com/

I still want several of these earrings for myself, and they make perfect gifts since they come in exclusive designer wrapping and all....and best of all they're only 150-200 nok!
my first pair and my favourites!!

I really want these..my friend and introducer has a pair like these.

my beautiful more classic looking ones! they come in several colours.

one fine day

I totally busted my toe.
I was really enjoying siv's class...finally getting a grip on the choreography and feeling really inspired by the amazing dancers around me! In the finall moments of the class I had my weight to far over and twisted the toe in a turn....

I kept thinking it would get better, and it never did. Not even after teaching four classes in the evening??? Unbeliveable!! So this morning, when it still was hurting to even put weight on the foot, I took a trip down to the emergency room. Good thing nothing was broken, but I have to take it easy for a week....no dancing....

I took some pictures at the class, but the camera is somewhere else...and I'm not leaving the couch right now....so yeah, later.

Gåte

I'm trying to figure out what music to use for the christmas show, and for th show we're doing with the compagny in April. Again, as I'm browsing through all kinds of music this band comes to mind again. It's a norwegian folk/rock band called Gåte (meaning of the word is riddle)

I thought this song was awesome:

The song I'm using however is this one: (I thought the lyrics were pretty funny too)

Awesome band!

Well It's off to class with Siv, and then teach 4 klasses tonight! (And if there are lots of e's missing in the post it's because Isak spilled coffe on my keyboard and the e is stuck-ish, any other miss spellings is my bad :P))

girls night out

eautiful
mini me

This saturday was the final event in the Mgp jr show of 2010. Since my good friend, Linda, works at NRK (tv-station) she had arranged tickets to go to the arena and see the dress rhersal with our girls. We started off the day by going to late lunch/dinner at peppes pizza at aker brygge. Perfect dining place for all of us with kids. Theres a huge play-area with a full size air-plane and stuff...I'm wondering why I didn't take any photos??

We finally get to the venue, and have to wait in line for a good 20 min before we get to our seats. The girls managed to get front row.

The tv-production was well choreographed and I was waching production stuff throughout the whole show. Camera coordination, dancers, hosts and artists put together in a well orchestrated symphony. If i'd had more time in my life I would hav signed up for tv-work. I could have been the cabel-gilrl or something...:P

The young dancers were amazing. Lucky choreographers is all I can say. So young and so talented kids don't exactly grow on trees around here. I wonder if it's still Jannicke who does th choreography for it? Anyone know?

Anyway the girls were pretty exstatic when they got to wach the show on tv later in the evening...and have a sleepover at Linda's.

man in the mirror

The mirrors are up!!
And what a huge difference it made! It was amazing to be able to teach and see everybody, and the kids L O V E D it too!

I had like 10 people show up for bodywork last night.....I've never had more that 3-4 so that was pretty amazing! Guess the word is going around finally!

Still have room for some 3 yr olds but that's about it!

Off to Siv class, and then teaching and office work at vinderen.

the ballerina

the ballerina

I should have done some research on this subject, but i didn't. So if you can help me out here I would be very grateful.

This beautiful old lady in ponte shoes who always show up for proffesional ballet class is simply so fasinating to me. I wish I knew her age, but I couldn't bring myself to ask her. She must have been a ballerina in the opera or something. I wonder what parts she used to play. I can see it in her steps that she picks up the choreography so easily. She must have done them  a million times before. I though todays class was a bit much, and she seemed to thouroghly enjoy it.

I did, however, manage to drag myself home and not stay for another class. I really need to go over all my classes for tonight!

Oh, the mirror in the studio is coming up tomorrow!!!

Ballett

After some consideration I decided to go to the earliest class today. It's ballett at 9. I'm having my coffe right now, and need to leave in about 5 min. I'm picking up the kids before teaching at five, and I need to go over some stuff and change some music. The plan is to go home and work after ballett....unless I get sucked into Siv's class that is :P

Have a good one <3
