Endelig har jeg fått tak i noen bilder fra showet jeg var med på i Kristiansand i helgen. Jeg håper jeg får flere bilder etter hvert, men jeg viser de jeg har så lenge.

Jeg gikk med flere anntrekk enn dette, også var jeg finalenummeret i brudekjole der jeg danset ballett!

Det er så gøy å ha en god serie å følge med på på tv. Jeg er en stor fan av SYTYCD og synes det er kjempemorsomt å følge med på den nye sesongen. Jeg har heldigvis opptaker på canal digital boksen min, så jeg har den på serieopptak! Da kan jeg se serien når det passer for meg.

Foreløpige favoritter blandt jentene er Sasha og Ryan. Hvem er dine?

There is no longer any question about it. I know exactly who I would want to be if I could take a pick. I couln't keep my eyes off her during the show. Even when she wasn't moving! Perfectly propotions. Endless legs. Deapth. Eyes. Story.

She comes to class sometimes, and I have trouble consentrating on the exercises. Her body moves in a very unnatural way, like it's made from rubber rather than flesh and bones.

Anyway, the show was amazing. I lost the story a little, but with such wonderful dancers I really didn't mind. Particulary the last dance was very beautiful and strong!

Dance show "shoes"

On our trip to London we went and saw a fantastic dance show at the peacoc theathre. If you happen to be going to London this is a must see! It's one of the best dance shows I've ever seen, and I belive it to be just as entertaining for non dancers as for profesionals. Here is a link to the theathres home page: Sadler's Wells Theatre

Trying once again to upload a video from my phone.....not sure if it will work this time. This is btw my craziest week before christmas. Rehersals every day, and lots of fixing costumes, music and other stuff for the show on Saturday.

Oh...big news: I'm working at kg again this spring! The project sounds amazing so far, and the kids there are super talented. More details about kg teateret later on.

day 24 christmas show

Still hanging out at marienlyst school and doing rehearsals and shows. Right now we are doing the last rehearsal of the day, and the final show today is in 3 hours.

Day 21 worlds aids day- dance show

I just got back from dancing with my girls in domkirken. The dancers were Hilde Olsson (pro dancer) Abelone, Mariann, Henriette, Nina, Sara, Zahra, Astrid, Daria and Maria from Hauketo dansestudio, Bettina, Nora, Live, Alix og Christina from Vinderen dansestudio. The event was really great. I'm so glad we were asked to do the dance show there, cuz I wouldn't have known about it otherwise. Everything was so professional, great lights and a fantastic band. Great performers, artists and singers and a strong message of solidarity and respect. It was a great honor to be able to come with my 15 dancers and be a part of it.

I went to see Pia at Aktifys again today too. We didn't get to stretch and do everything we were supposed to today. I fell in class last week and hurt my back, so there were some problems that had to be fixed first. At least now my back isn't hurting anymore and I can go back to training!

Time to relax for me. That means facebook and tv...what are you doing tonight?

Day 20 rehersal in domkirken

Todays rehersal went great and we are ready to dance at the worlds aids day service tomorrow night.

Day 6- dancing in Oslo domkirke

I just got off the phone with people from the organization Aksept and have now been hired to do a dance show at the world aids day and the show in Oslo  domkirke! It's on desember 1'st and there is really little time to rehers since it's in beetween our christmas-shows. So the plan is to hire a couple of proffesionals, and make a simple choreography that can be done on different timings. I need as many youth as possible, so I'm bringing all my Hauketo-girls and some from Vinderen. Also people coming to mu audition two days before will have the oportunity to join! (They wanted as many as possible!)  The song we're dancing to is an instrumental version of  I'm feeling good. There are several other oportunities to do jobs for these people later on, so I'm excited to make this connection and to do this job!

And I have done my workouts and stretches at home today...in the kitchen, with mpeole staring at me from outside! :D I got a new apponitment with my trainer on friday so I need to do the work!!!

guys & dolls

 As in the first musical I ever saw. I was 18 and living for one year in westerville OH. My boyfriend at the time was playing one of the lead characters in the show.The feeling I remember from that night was how I wanted to be ON that stage instead of waching it from the audience. Little did I know that I was going into that business only a few years later.

I kept the program in my scrapbook and still have it to this day.

This morning before I left for ballett mr E told me I looked like a doll. I guess I did today with my hair pulled up in a ballet top on the top of my head. I thought it aproprate when I saw the bathroom sign at the coffeshop right after class: dolls. I had to check out the mens sign and off course...guys. Lovin it!

Next time I saw guys & dolls as a theatre play was at the dance school I ended up going to. I saw a dress rehersal in a crowded studio getting flashbacks from the first time I saw it. Thinking that it was somehow the fulfilment of that dream.

Coffe shop talk and what it always comes down to. Who we are and who we're with. Why these guys make us feel the way we do and how they make us want to be dolls forever and ever.

Show season is coming up, and for those of you who didn't realize it - christmas is right around the corner! In my business we start preparing for christmas shows in september, so we're already into the the season. I'm making a " all over the world" show for my studio at Hauketo, and one of the little kids groups is doing a hawaii dance. I've got 3 crazy cute boys in this group and I've been thinking that I need to get some drums or something to use in the show. So saturday arrives, and I decide on taking the kids with me down town to go to the most amazing shop to get costumes and "gadgets" for shows.

This saturday was the final event in the Mgp jr show of 2010. Since my good friend, Linda, works at NRK (tv-station) she had arranged tickets to go to the arena and see the dress rhersal with our girls. We started off the day by going to late lunch/dinner at peppes pizza at aker brygge. Perfect dining place for all of us with kids. Theres a huge play-area with a full size air-plane and stuff...I'm wondering why I didn't take any photos??

We finally get to the venue, and have to wait in line for a good 20 min before we get to our seats. The girls managed to get front row.

The tv-production was well choreographed and I was waching production stuff throughout the whole show. Camera coordination, dancers, hosts and artists put together in a well orchestrated symphony. If i'd had more time in my life I would hav signed up for tv-work. I could have been the cabel-gilrl or something...:P

The young dancers were amazing. Lucky choreographers is all I can say. So young and so talented kids don't exactly grow on trees around here. I wonder if it's still Jannicke who does th choreography for it? Anyone know?

Anyway the girls were pretty exstatic when they got to wach the show on tv later in the evening...and have a sleepover at Linda's.
