Day 78 dancing and nutrition part 1

I have been thinking about nutrition for a couple of days. I feel like I know too little about what I should eat working out as much as I do. I usually have 4-5 hours of dancing on mondays, wednesdays and thursdays, and 1-3 hours during the weekend. Total of over 15 hours of working out each week. I don't really plan my meals or have a plan for what I should eat or not eat.

I want to change that and have been thinking about it the whole week. So it was kind of funny just today in class when several of my "girls" started talking about the subject and also wanted to know more. So I decided to do a little research for me and for them and even for you.

Nutrition part 1:
I will start out with some guidelines for eating healthy in general: (These are tips that keep occuring as I'm reading different research and peoples opinions)
  1. Eat more vegetables
  2. Use full wheat products
  3. Candy only on saturday (that's a hard one for me)
  4. Drink more water
  5. Don't drink soda
  6. More fish, less meat
I'll start you off with this, and post a couple more on the subject later. This is a good starting point however, and I'll try to follow these 6 points from now on. My goal isn't to loose weight or anything like that, but to have a healthier life, and more energy. Also to get more out of working out by replacing the things my body need to get in balance after training.

Wich is the hardest one for you? And do you try to follow any of these tips?
